In reimagining the headquarters for Servco, Office Pavilion embarked on a journey to transform a conventional workspace into an inspiring hub that reflects Servco’s commitment to community and forward-thinking innovation. Under thoughtful stewardship of OP Account Executive, JoAnn Kumashiro, in partnership with Servco’s VP of Facilities, Jill Kawakami, this project has set a new benchmark for workplace excellence.

At the heart of the Servco HQ project was a shared legacy of family-driven values between Servco and Office Pavilion. Both companies, deeply rooted as family-owned businesses in Hawaii, brought a personal touch and a profound understanding of local culture to the table. This shared foundation amplified the project's success, as each decision was infused with a commitment to community and longevity, mirroring the enduring nature of family bonds. This collaboration not only strengthened the project but also highlighted how aligned values can lead to exceptional outcomes in the business landscape.

Collaboration was key. Working alongside G70’s Interiors Department, the layout was tailored to maximize efficiency and aesthetic appeal, selecting premium furnishings like MillerKnoll workstations and Eames management chairs that embody quality and style. A standout feature of the boardroom is the custom live-edge conference table, crafted from a 100 year-old historic tree from Senator Fong’s plantation by artisan John Kalani Stasack, symbolizing a bridge between heritage and contemporary design.

  • Furnishing: Sourced and installed high-end furniture including over 80 MillerKnoll workstations, private offices, Eames Aluminum Management Chairs, Framery Booths and various ancillary furnishings, focusing on ergonomic and functional needs while still aligning with the overall aesthetic.
  • Installation: Coordinated with Servco’s project management team, ensuring installations were synchronized with IT and data setups.

Project Goals:

  • Create a positive environment that is welcoming and incorporates elements of fun
  • Focus on ergonomics and creating different spaces that allows everyone to work the way they work best.
