Puppy in Paradise Award Celebration & Fundraiser

A fun-filled night of amazing designs, exciting awards and of course, lots of puppies!

Puppy 4815

On May 9, 2024, the inaugural Puppy in Paradise Design Challenge culminated in an Award Celebration and Fundraiser, bringing together Hawaii's top design firms in a showcase of creativity and community spirit, all in support of a noble cause.

The Challenge invited ten esteemed design firms to reimagine the Magis Puppy, a beloved design icon by Finnish designer Eero Aarnio. The challenge was not just a competition but a celebration of innovative design and philanthropy, with all proceeds benefiting Hawaii Fi-Do, an organization dedicated to providing service dogs to those in need.

At Office Pavilion, we are committed to Creating the Best places to Work, Serve, Learn and Heal. This challenge was a unique opportunity to merge our passion for design with our commitment to community service. By partnering with IIDA, ASID, and AIA, we aimed to foster a collaborative environment that not only highlights local talent but also supports an important local cause, Hawaii Fi-Do. Their collaboration was instrumental in bringing this event to life, demonstrating the power of partnership in fostering innovation and community engagement within the design and architectural industries.

Supporting Hawaii Fi-Do
We were proud to have supported Hawaii Fi-Do through this endeavor and collectively raised $5200 towards their mission to train and provide service dogs to people with disabilities (other than blindness) to increase their independence and quality of life.
